Return Policy & Terms Of Sale

Because we want our clients to be thrilled with their new gemstone and rough purchases, we allow a 10 day inspection period.  Please review the Return Policy and Terms of Sale described below.

All gemstone and rough purchases are entitled to a 10 DAY INSPECTION PERIOD, during which they may be evaluated and returned if found to be unsatisfactory.  Every effort is made by us to portray and describe each stone as accurately as possible.  However, until a gemstone or rough stone is seen in-hand, it is impossible to know if it truly meets a client’s individual needs and expectations.

Regarding rough stones, please note that each piece of rough is UNIQUE.  Minor surface imperfections in NATURAL gemstone rough, is normal.  These may include divots, odd shapes, surface cracks and abrasions, surface discolorations.  Any deeper imperfections that will significantly impair recovery will be noted (ie: cracks and veils that will necessitate splitting,  etc.)

Domestic Clients:

Payments are accepted through PayPal, Certified Check, or Money Order.

International Clients:

Payment is accepted through PayPal ONLY.


Prior to packging, all faceted gemstones are placed in either a plastic gem container or glass-topped box at our discretion.  Roughs are placed in plastic zip bags and wrapped in bubble wrap.

Domestic Clients:

Domestic buyers may choose one of the following methods of shipping:

Bubble padded envelope with signature confirmation for $ 10 .00 USD

–Priority Mail flat rate box with delivery or signature confirmation for $ 15.50 USD

Note:  We may require a USPS Registered mail and/or signature for higher-value items at our discretion.

Shipping confirmation will be sent via e-mail.  This will include the tracking number and tracking links.

PLEASE NOTE:  If a mode of shipping is not specifically requested, our default shipping method is bubble padded envelope, sent via USPS with delivery confirmation.

International Clients:

The least expensive method of  shipping available is via a bubble padded envelope sent by Standard US Mail for $ 8.50 USD.   The Customs number and date/time stamp information will be sent via e-mail.

International Priority Mail with insurance is also available.  Rates will be calculated based on destination.

Note:  We may require a signature for higher-value items.  Such items will be shipped via Registered Mail.  Charges for International Registered Mail is a minimum of  $ 30.00 USD

Other modes of shipping may be arranged, but will be subject to shipping charges coincident with the method and cost of shipping.

PLEASE NOTE:  We are not responsible for Customs delays, loss and/or misdirected mail.  Any and all taxes that may be imposed by the destination Country are the sole responsibility of the purchaser.


If for whatever reason, you are not completely satisfied with your gemstone or rough purchases, please contact us within 10 days of receiving your merchandise to arrange for a return.  Once we are in receipt the UNALTERED stone(s), we will refund the full purchase price (less shipping).

Rough that has been altered in any way will not be eligible for a refund.

Gemstones should be returned in original condition (ie: no chips, scratches or other damage).  Evidence of attempts to set a loose stone will result in a full or partial loss of refund.

Note:  All stones are carefully inspected with a 10x loupe prior to shipping.  Please refrain from using metal tweezers, prong-type clip settings, push-in settings, etc. on any gemstone until you have decided to keep it.  Refunds will be refused for gemstones that are returned with damage.  At our discretion, a partial refund may be considered if reasonable repairs to any damages can be made.  However, please keep in mind that if a stone requires re-cutting, this will result in a significant loss of material.  Should repair services be required, all re-cutting fees, as well as any resultant decrease in gemstone value, will be deducted from the refund amount.

Also, we love to see the RESULTS!!  Please send us a photo of the cut rough (or our custom-cut gemstone in a setting).  We will be happy to post it on our site!!
