Welcome to Rough 2 Refined Gemstones!

We are your online source for top-quality facet rough, cabbing rough and beautiful custom-cut gemstones.

    

At Rough 2 Refined Gemstones, we sell only the same quality of rough that we would consider faceting or cabbing ourselves.  We strive to accurately grade the clarity of our material, and because we are also gemstone cutters, we understand the needs and expectations of the cutter.  We deal exclusively in natural gem rough and accept no treatments other than typical heat.   

As of November 2011, in addition to offering those gemstones that have been cut by us, personally; we have also begun offering stones which were commissioned and hand-selected by Cathy for their outstanding beauty and quality.  These can be found under “Cathy’s Collection”.  All of our gemstones are cut exclusively from natural (non-synthetic) materials.  Each of our personally faceted stones are meticulously cut to proper angles and finished with the highest quality polish, thus producing the brightest and most lustrous gemstone possible.
